What is a Monitor in lone working?

When using the Ok Alone lone worker monitoring system you will see the word ‘Monitor’ throughout the website, but what does that actually mean?

What is a Monitor?

A monitor is the person who is contacted if a worker doesn’t check in on time or sends a help request. Each worker is assigned one or more monitors and those monitors are steps within that workers escalation procedure. If ‘Todd’ misses his check in then his monitor Sarah is contacted to let her know.

What else can monitors do?

Monitors also have access to the Ok Alone dashboard and can input workers information. They can change shift times, change check in frequencies, update personal information, keep track of workers locations and create escalation procedures.
